About Designer
Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) born in America learnt his skills at the Engineering School of Wisconsin and then joined the architectural practice of J.L. Silsbee. He worked as a draftsman with Louis Sullivan for 5 years until 1893 and in 1897 helped to found the Chicago Arts and Crafts Society. He started his own architectural practice in 1889 and a year later had designed over 50 houses and their interiors! In 1909 he travelled to Europe and when he came back he turned his house 'Taliesin' into an architectural school. In 1955 he designed the "Teliesin line of furniture which was intended for the mass market.
