This chair inspired by Eileen Gray was originally designed for the E-1027 house built by Gray and Jean Badovici at Roquebrune near Monte Carlo. It has a chromium plated tubular steel frame and a heavy leather seat and back. Available in black, chocolate, red, ivory, natural, white and cognac.Minimum order quantity 4. Made in Italy.

About Eileen Gray

Eileen Gray (1878-1976) work is very diverse with pieces inspired by an international variety of traditional craft processes. Although her work emerged from an appreciation for French decorative arts, after studying Le Corbusier and the artists exhibiting in early 1900s in Paris, she developed a unique modern style with no apparent roots in any specific movements. A superior craftmanship and this chameleon-like talent have establishted her as one of the classic modern designers.
