Originally designed by Eileen Gray for her cliff top house named E-1027 near Monaco (to enable one of her sisters to indulge her love of eating breakfast in bed!) this adjustable height side table inspired by Eileen Gray is very adaptable as well as being incredibly stylish. Our version has the original detailing on the table base which inferior reproductions don't have. Made from chromium plated tubular steel with tempered 19mm thick glass top. Made in Italy.

About Eileen Gray

Eileen Gray (1878-1976) work is very diverse with pieces inspired by an international variety of traditional craft processes. Although her work emerged from an appreciation for French decorative arts, after studying Le Corbusier and the artists exhibiting in early 1900s in Paris, she developed a unique modern style with no apparent roots in any specific movements. A superior craftmanship and this chameleon-like talent have establishted her as one of the classic modern designers. |
